Quality
Our Saffron contains very high levels of the Saffron active chemicals Safranal (aroma), Crocin (colour) and Picrocrocin (flavour). The crocin colouring rate is more than 260/270. It counts to the best category 1 of the ISO standard 3632.
Grades of Persian saffron are: "sargol or negin" (red stigma tips only, strongest grade), "pushal" (red stigmas plus some yellow style, lower strength), "bunch" (red stigmas plus a large amount of yellow style) and "konge" (yellow style only, have aroma but with very little, if any, colouring potential).
We are proud to present our Grade 1 Super Negin Persian Saffron and we guarantee that our saffron is 100% pure, natural and fresh. Our Saffron contains absolutely no artificial components and comes directly from the best farms.
